Ankit is an artist working primarily with photography. 

 

In early 2011 he installed his first solo show as a forbidden exhibition on Oberbaumbrücke in Berlin. A week later all the images were stolen, ending up as intimate letters to strangers. Since then his work has been exhibited in New York, Netherlands, Australia and India apart from other places.

For the last decade, he has lived between Europe and a small village at the foothills of the Himalayas, where his practice continues to unfold slowly over time.
