Ankit is an explorer working primarily with photography. 

In early 2011 he installed his first solo show as a forbidden exhibition on Oberbaumbrücke in Berlin. A week later all the images were stolen, ending up as intimate letters to strangers. 

Since then his work has been exhibited in New York, Netherlands, Australia, Berlin and India apart from other places. Featured in several magazines, he was recently shortlisted by Gomma Mono Vol 2 as one of the most exciting photographers in the world.

A keen gardener, since 2010 he has lived and worked between Europe and a small village at the foothills of the Himalayas.
